Bryan Mann and his Performance Wholesale / Capalaba Wreckers team returned to Brisbane International Speedway last night for round 11 of the Comp Cams Sprintcar Series. Bryan had a magnificent night and looked a strong chance at a podium finish, until former team-mate Cameron Gessner spun in front of him and left him with nowhere to go, the pair making contact and leaving both cars, then racing for third and fourth position, out of the race. |

After a season spent jet-setting around Australia competing in World Series Sprintcars and contesting various events right throughout this country, Bryan Mann returned home to Brisbane International Speedway last night for Round 10 of the Comp Cams Sprintcar Series. Right from the outset it was clear his time spent away was a great learning curve for Bryan and with plenty of laps under his belt, and the growing ability to adapt to different tracks, Bryan was keen to try his hand at his home track once again and get some good results on the board. |

Back home in the tight bull-ring of Brisbane International Speedway, Bryan Mann was hoping for a change in luck for the final round of World Series Sprintcars. Things looked promising in time trials with Bryan qualifying the Performance Wholesale / Capalaba Wreckers J&J 17th quickest of 36 cars with a blistering time of 11.931. But from then on he seemed unable to persuade lady luck to be kind and spent much of the night in the wrong place at the wrong time, leaving the team disappointed and with a lot of work to do after the opening night of the competition. |
